The Grand River Film Festival is hitting the big screen in the Gaslight District.

The Grand River Film Festival is coming to the big screen inside the Gaslight District next month.

On May 11, the community can gather to watch the festival's short films from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The day will begin with international shorts at 11 a.m., followed by Canadian shorts at 11:54 a.m. and wrapping up with documentaries at 12:54 p.m.

Residents are encouraged to bring folding chairs and blankets or enjoy the viewing from a patio.

Outside food and drinks are permitted.

The GRFF, an incorporated not-for-profit, aims to bring inspiring films to the region through its annual festival and year-round programs.

The movies include work from local, Canadian and international film makers.

Entry is free and there are no reserved spots in the courtyard area.
