The city says beginning April 8, roadwork will close Beverly Street north of Dundas Street North to Samuelson Street and Samuelson Street between Kimberly Road and Elgin Street North.
The work will be done in stages to minimize traffic disruptions. In addition to the full closure, residents can expect the following intersections to be closed:
- Elgin Street and Samuelson Street will be closed for approximately 10 days.
- Beverly Street and Samuelson Street will be closed until early fall.
Work includes watermain and sewer replacement, a new multi-use trail, and pedestrian underpass at the Canadian Pacific Kansas City railway bridge.
Work is anticipated to be complete by December 2024, with the full re-opening of all streets.
A detour will be in place and residents are encouraged to plan an alternative route ahead of time for the duration of this project. We appreciate your patience while we work to improve this road for all users.
