CambridgeToday received the following letter to the editor from reader Celia Chaplin in response to our recent article, Parents want ‘dyslexia’ to be recognized at public school board.

I read with great interest the article about dyslexia. I have been battling with it all my life and was only diagnosed after my first child was diagnosed.

Both my children have it and, from my experience, if it’s addressed early on, it makes a huge difference.

There is no cure for dyslexia, but there are ways to navigate it.

I hope the schools learn to address it for the sake of the children.
