The City of Cambridge has declared a snow event as up to 20 cm of snow is expected to fall throughout the region overnight.

The declaration means on-street parking is banned to allow plows to efficiently and safely clear snow.

Vehicles should not be parked on any city street at any time for the duration of the snow event, which is in effect for 24 hours from the start time.

Vehicles left on the road may be ticketed and/or towed.

City snow plows will clear snow based on provincial guidelines and a priority schedule with primary and secondary roads cleared first and residential roads cleared last.

Sidewalks should be cleared within 36 hours following the end of snowfall.

Snow should not be shovelled onto the road.
