There were no injuries but lots of damage following an early afternoon fire at a high rise on 15 Lena Cres. in Cambridge on Monday.

The cause of the incident was a grease fire on a stove in one of the unit’s kitchens. No injuries were reported.

Damage is estimated at $210,000.

According to the Cambridge Fire Department, “damage would have been much worse had it not been for a working sprinkler system.”

They also advise to never add water to an active grease fire.
