Anyone in Cambridge looking to gather to watch the Stanley Cup Final or National Basketball Association Finals this week is in luck.
The Gaslight District will be showing the games on their big screen at 46 Grand Ave S.
Entry into the district is free and residents are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, blankets and snacks.
The games can also be viewed from the Foundry Tavern patio.
The next watch party will be tonight at 8 p.m. as the Vegas Golden Knights take on the Florida Panthers in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final. The Golden Knights lead the best-of-seven series 1-0.
Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat goes Wednesday night at 8:30 p.m. The series is currently tied 1-1.
Both series feature Waterloo region connections as Golden Knights defenceman Nic Hague and Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray are Kitchener natives.
