Grand River Transit is seeking public input on planned route changes and service improvements in Cambridge and has launched a page on EngageCambridge to gather feedback until March 11.

Recommended improvements to the region's public transit system in Cambridge include adding new routes to provide more direct travel options to major destinations including the Ainslie Terminal, South Cambridge Shopping Centre, Cambridge Centre Station, King/Bishop area and the Franklin/Saginaw area.

GRT is also planning to add more service on evenings and weekends.

Travel distances to some bus stops may be further in order to provide more direct service overall.

Links to maps are included on the EngageCambridge site along with a form to provide feedback.

Online feedback will be followed by three Public Consultation Centres planned for March that will detail proposed route changes and service improvements.
