NEWS RELEASE
REGION OF WATERLOO
*************************
Residents are invited to give feedback about Regional programs and services to help Council decide how they’ll be funded in the budget for 2022.

The budget is a plan for how money is spent on resident-centred services that help our community achieve its most important goals.

“The Region of Waterloo does everything with our residents in mind,” said Regional Chair Karen Redman. “Our region has an ambitious goal of being a world-class community. This happens through high-quality programs and services residents say matter to them. These are not Council’s priorities, they are residents’ priorities. We are excited and committed to delivering a responsible budget that improves the lives of everyone in Waterloo Region.”

The survey is available at www.EngageWR.ca/Budget2022 and is open until Thursday, Oct. 21. Residents can also email [email protected] with questions or feedback.

Community members are also invited to attend a Budget Committee meeting to give input on the budget on Monday, Nov. 1 or Monday, Nov. 22. These meetings will be livestreamed.
