Heating issue closes Central Public School

Central Public School in Cambridge has been closed today due to a heating issue.

Before and after school programs have also been cancelled.

Facility Services is working to correct the issue and an update will be sent to parents and caregivers as soon as possible.

Families of students who arrived for before school care will be contacted to arrange the pick up of their child. Until pick up can be arranged, students are located in a heated space.

Learning will continue as teachers will teach asynchronously from home and will be available to students during the regular school day hours on their Google Classrooms. 

Students are invited to participate as they are able.
