Construction crews are on scene after a Jeep Wrangler drove into a nail salon on Franklin Boulevard around noon Monday.
Workers at Tips N Toes at 800 Franklin Blvd. had a scare as a Jeep jumped the curb and came barrelling through the wall just before lunch.
According to a worker from Woodhouse Restoration, the driver of a blue Jeep Wrangler had issues with her car and then ended up halfway inside of the nail salon.
"She was saying there was something wrong with the computer, but I think she got the pedals wrong," said the worker.
The City of Cambridge has shut down the building and all of the staff were asked to leave while repairs are completed.
Cam Lyndon was pumping gas at the gas station next to the nail salon and wasn't surprised when he saw the damage.
"It's like every week someone drives through a wall here," he said. "I bet this will end up on Facebook."
