Local companies invited to apply for FedDev funding until Dec. 20

Priorities for this year's funding stream include projects that support clean economic growth and cutting edge technology

FedDev Ontario is now accepting applications for their fall intake funding. They are looking for projects that align with their fall 2024 priorities:

  • Clean economic growth – projects that support the greening of the economy, that can contribute to emissions reductions, and that create sustainable and green jobs.
  • Growth companies – projects that accelerate business development and growth.
  • Technology – projects in cutting-edge sectors.
  • Industrial transition – projects that support change in traditional sectors to adopt new technologies and other innovations to improve their competitiveness and build new opportunities.
  • Automotive suppliers – projects that support firms in the transition to Zero-Emission Vehicles (ZEV) and contribute to the development of a robust Canadian ZEV supply chain.

The funding consists of interest free, repayable contributions ranging from $125,000 to $10 million for businesses that are developing innovative products and services, improving productivity or expanding into new markets.

Applications are due on December 20, 2024.
