The Waterloo Region District School Board launched its online registration Thursday for parents, caregivers and families sending kids to public school this fall.

Registrations are open for the 2022-2023 school year, including students born in 2018.

Online registration is available for for all Kindergarten, elementary and secondary students, as well as international students.

Visit the WRDSB Registration website to begin the registration process.

The board says walk-in appointments at the Education Centre on Ardelt Avenue in Kitchener cannot be accommodated at this time and recommends that anyone looking to register their child in person should contact their school after August 29 for information about walk-in appointment availability.

Once online registration is completed, the child’s school will contact you. The board says that will take place after Aug. 29, when schools reopen.

The first day of school is Tuesday, Sept. 6.

Questions about the process can be directed to the child’s home school.
