Pair from Cambridge found with drugs at Kitchener traffic stop

Waterloo Regional Police Service's Direct Action Response Team arrested two individuals after a traffic stop in Kitchener. 

On April 14, 2022, at approximately 8:50 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop around King Street East and Morgan Avenue. 

Through investigation, the driver and passenger were found in possession of drugs. 

Police arrested a 48-year-old male and a 27-year-old female, both from Cambridge. They were charged with several offences, including possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. 

Police seized suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine and crack cocaine.
