Markets, porch festivals and activities in Hespeler top the list of things to do this weekend in Cambridge.

Saturday Aug. 27 

The Sharing Squirrel birthday bash

55 Pinebush Rd. 

10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Sharing Squirrel celebrates their fifth birthday with their Five is a Vibe party. The up-sell shop will be taking over the parking lot and will have local vendors and children’s activities for the community to enjoy. They are partnering with Mama’s for Mamas, a charity designated to help moms in need. 

Porch Party

443 Beaver St. 

1 p.m. to 5 p.m. 

The Preston Porch Party is back and ready to rock the block for Play Music on the Porch Day. Four acts will play in driveways on the Preston street. 

Galt Porch Fest

Near Victoria Park in Galt 

1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Another porch event will be taking place in another part of town as the Galt Porch Fest takes over the neighbourhood with most acts centralizing in the Brant Road and Wentworth Avenue area. 

Hespeler Farmers Market

Hespeler Village on the river

9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The farmers market returns with this week's theme being back to school. Local vendors will be selling goods and produce. 

Latin Music on Queen

23 Queen St. E., Cambridge

7:30 p.m. - 11 p.m.

Queen Latin Music is hosting a free street dancing event and all are welcome. They will be playing salsa, bachata and merengue to spice up your Saturday. They will also have a dance instructor giving free dance lessons starting at 9 p.m.
