Snowfall warning in effect for Wednesday into Thursday

Travel may be difficult, power outages possible as a Texas low tracks through southwestern Ontario on Wednesday

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning in effect for Cambridge and Waterloo region as "significant snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm expected Wednesday into Thursday.

The snow is expected to lead to reduced visibility as snow accumulates and blows, making travel difficult.

Isolated power outages are possible.

The snow is expected to arrive Wednesday afternoon and persist into Thursday morning.

The Texas low tracking northeastward could bring locally higher amounts of up to 20 cm.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
