Holiday festivities, the farmers’ market, moccasin making and an indulgent tea experience is all on the list of things to do this weekend in the city.

Friday, Nov. 25

Phil Kline’s Unsilent Night

50 Dickson St, 6:45 p.m.

A modern twist on caroling, this event takes residents on a walk through the downtown to view over 30 light installations. Music by Phil Kline will be playing along the route.

Opening Night at Hamilton Family Theatre: The Sound of Music

46 Grand Ave. S, 7:30 p.m.

Aspiring nun Maria governs the seven mischievous children of Captain von Trapp. A timeless classic this holiday season.

Old Post Office Digital Holiday Light Show

12 Water St S, 8:00 - 9:30 p.m.

A special holiday light show will be projected on the facade of the Old Post Office. Shows begin every half hour and residents can tune into 92.5 on their radio to listen to choreographed music.

 

Saturday, Nov. 26

Cambridge Farmers' Market

40 Dickson St., 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

A central community food hub, the market features 26 year round vendors and 30 seasonal vendors.

Indigenous Lead Moccasin Making Workshop

89 Grand Ave. S, 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Learn the process of piecing and sewing your moccasins together.

Sunday, Nov. 27

Sensitive Santa

355 Hespeler Rd, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.

A visit with Santa for children with social, emotional, accessible and behavioural needs. The environment has lower lighting and a quieter surrounding.

“Death by Chocolate” Tea by the Grand

89 Grand Ave. S, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

A unique tea experience with a chocolate twist. Chocolate treats and drinks will be served.
