Weather advisory in effect for:

  • Kitchener - Cambridge - Region of Waterloo

Winter weather travel advisory in effect.

Hazards: Low visibility in blowing snow and brief bursts of heavy snow. Snowfall accumulations of 2 to 5 cm are possible over a 2 to 4 hour period.

When: Conditions are expected to improve by afternoon.

Discussion: Snow squalls from Lake Huron may occasionally extend inland to the region.

Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Slow down driving in slippery conditions. Watch for taillights ahead and maintain a safe following distance. If you must drive, be prepared for areas of poor visibility. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
