Zellers food truck rolls into Cambridge serving nostalgia and burgers

Zellers is back in town and offering all the nostalgia shoppers can handle

Zellers finally made its debut in Cambridge this week with the food truck rolling into town Saturday.

Despite the freezing rain, over 100 people still lined up to get some of the discount department store's favourites offered by the mobile diner, said Lauren Polyak, marketing for Zellers Canada.

People from all over the region came to the store to try and get a glimpse of the nostalgic offerings from Zellers and grab a bite from the food truck.

One shopper came all the way from Hamilton with her daughter to peruse the aisles and take a trip down memory lane.

"I used to shop at Zellers for over 40 years," said Peggy Mike. "I used to bring my kids when they were smaller and they would hit the balloons in the restaurant, I'm just grateful to have Zellers back."

The store is set up on the second floor in the The Hudson's Bay location in the Cambridge Centre Mall.
