The Cambridge Highlanders are looking to take another step forward in their third year as a franchise.
Last week, they found out who they'll be playing and when as the 2025 junior B lacrosse schedule was announced.
Before the regular season begins, the Highlanders play three exhibition games in a preseason tournament in Elora against the host Mohawks, Orangeville and Windsor.
Games get underway for real on April 26 when they head to Welland to take on the Generals.
Four more road games follow in Hamilton, Point Edward, Guelph and Orangeville before they return to Galt Arena Gardens for their home opener on May 11 against Windsor.
The home portion of the regular season wraps up June 14 versus Six Nations before a June 15 road game in Owen Sound caps off the campaign.

The Highlanders are coming off a season where they went 14-6 and finished second in the Mid West Division. After defeating Six Nations in the first round of the playoffs, they were swept by the Elora Mohawks in the second round.
During their inaugural season in 2023, they finished 9-11 and lost in the first round of the playoffs to Elora.
