Cambridge's own Rylee Foster is making her return to the Women's Super League in the UK after signing a short-term deal with Everton.
The 26-year-old goalie is signed until Jan. 2025 after coming off a short stint in New Zealand with the Wellington Phoenix of the A-League.

Foster started a trial with the Everton Toffees back in July and has now been made an official part of the team.
“It’s an honour to make my return to the WSL with Everton,” Foster said in a social media post. “I’m thankful for the opportunity to prove myself amongst the world’s greatest and to train alongside great players and coaching staff. Looking forward to getting the season started this weekend!”
Foster joined the Phoenix two years after suffering a near-death car accident that left her in a neck brace and with serious injuries.

During the time of the accident, Foster was the goalie for Liverpool FC and with her new contract she makes her return to the city of Liverpool, but this time with her old club's rival.
Everton’s season kicks off on Saturday with their first game against Brighton and Hove Albion.
