McClintock-Rini representing Canada in Pan American Water Ski Championships

Water skier Whitney McClintock-Rini will once again represent Canada, this time at the Pan American Championships in Santiago, Chile.

Water Ski Canada has announced their teams for the 2022 International Waterski and Wakeboard Federation (IWWF) Pan American Water Ski Championships in Santiago, Chile.

Cambridge's Whitney McClintock-Rini will represent Canada in the open age division in the slalom event. She will be one of 22 Canadian skiers taking part.

Team Canada will feature four age groups, U14, U17, U21 and Open. They will be managed by Kyle Hunter and coached by Matt Rini, Cole Grant and Drew Ross.

The Pan American Championships are held every two years and features the top skiers in the Pan Am region. Each team's individual score will be tabulated together to determine the overall team championship. Individual medal will also be given out in the slalom, tricks, jump, and overall events.

The competition runs from Nov. 27 until Dec. 4.
