A busy week in golf sees six professional tournaments with 14 Canadians playing in them across the Americas.

LPGA TOUR — Brooke Henderson of Smiths Falls, Ont., faces South Korea's Yaeeun Hong on the first day of play at the Bank of Hope LPGA Match-Play in Las Vegas. Maddie Szeryk of London, Ont., will take on Sweden's Linn Grant at Shadow Creek Golf Course.

EPSON TOUR — Selena Costabile of Thornhill, Ont., tied for seventh last week at the IOA Golf Classic. She's back in action at Inova Mission Inn Resort and Club Championship in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. Quebec City's Sarah-Eve Rheaume is the other Canadian in the field.

PGA TOUR — Nick Taylor of Abbotsford, B.C., is the lone Canadian in the field at this week's Charles Schwab Challenge at the Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas. Taylor is the second highest ranked Canadian on the PGA Tour following the PGA Championship, sitting 25th on the FedEx Cup standings.

BLOCK PARTY — Michael Block, a club pro who played his way into last week's PGA Championship to tie for 15th at the second major of the season, has been granted a sponsor's exemption to the RBC Canadian Open. The 46-year-old Block works as a full-time golf instructor in California.

CHAMPIONS TOUR — Calgary's Stephen Ames sits fifth in the Schwab Cup rankings, the senior tour's money list. He's in the field with Mike Weir of Brights Grove, Ont., at the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship at Fields Ranch East course in Frisco, Texas.

KORN FERRY TOUR — Edmonton's Wil Bateman is the top-ranked Canadian in the field at this week's Visit Knoxville Open at Holston Hills Country Club. He's No. 33 on the second-tier tour's points list. No. 79 Roger Sloan of Merritt, B.C., will also being playing at the event in Tennessee.

LATINOAMERICA TOUR — Myles Creighton of Digby, N.S., is No. 15 on the TotalPlay Cup standings heading into the Colombia Classic presentado por Rocha Brothers at Ruitoque Golf and Country Club in Bucaramanga, Colombia. Joey Savoie of La Prairie, Que., Max Sekulic of Rycroft, Alta., Vancouver's Stuart Macdonald, and Blair Bursey of Gander, N.L., will round out the Canadian contingent.
