It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Eduarda Cabral.

Survived by her children Maria Falcao (Victor Falcao), Ricardo Cabral (Alaena Cabral), Ana Cabral (Brian O’Brien) and Dean Cabral. Her siblings Verissimo Santos, (Angie Santos), Ana Azevedo (Alvaro Azevedo) Domingos Santos (Brenda Santos) Nicolau Santos (Cidalia Santos) and late Gil Santos (Barbara Santos) Grandchildren Alicia Snell (Ben Snell), Ty Cabral, Santos Cabral, Tiffany Falcao (Steve Lopez), Quinn Cabral, Seth Cabral, Makayla Cabral, Braydon Hastings and Keana Hastings. Great grandchildren Victoria Lopez, Aiden Lopez, Abel Snell and Kellen Snell. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her loving husband and childhood sweetheart of 60 years Armando Cabral, father Gil Santos and mother Maria (née Silveira) and brother Antonio Santos.

Family was important to Eduarda. Her world was full of love and family which was everything to her. She is one in 7 siblings, and loved each and everyone of her brothers and her sister with all of her heart. The most amazing mother to her four children, and a massive loss to her nine grandchildren, all of which she loved with every bit of her heart. She always had an endless amount of love to give. Spending Many of her years serving the Portuguese community of Cambridge through her ownership of the Portuguese stores and her love of cooking.

Along with her husband Armando Cabral they were active members of the Portuguese club. They were also known by many in the community and helped assist many families in relocating to Cambridge from Portugal. In her retirement she spent the winter's snow birding with her late husband Armando at their home in the Dominican Republic. She will be dearly missed by many family and friends who had the fortunate opportunity to be a part of her life.

Family and friends will be received at Coutts Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 96 St Andrews Street, Cambridge on Wednesday, March 15th from 2-4 p.m. & 6-9 p.m. (Rosary at 8:30 p.m.). The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, on Thursday, March 16th at 10 a.m. with Father Alberto Ferreira officiating. Interment will take place at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge. A reception will follow at the Portuguese Oriental Sports Club, 1054 Shellard Side Road, Cambridge.
