JULY 27, 1941 – FEBRUARY 13, 2023

Marjorie passed away suddenly, but peacefully, surrounded by her family on Monday, February 13, 2023 at Grand River Hospital at the age of 81.

Predeceased by her beloved husband of 32 years, Anthony Francis Campbell (1994). Loving mother of Gary Campbell (Isabelle), Sharon Mercier (Danny), Glenda Leusink (Doug) and Kimberly Myers (Steve). Proud Nana of Liam, Coll and Hannah Campbell, Nicholas and Mason Mercier, Kirsten and Kayla Leusink, and Nolan and Madison Myers. One of 9 children born to the late Tom and Martha Sheppard, Marjorie is survived by her brother Ben, and sisters Mavis, Joyce, Melvina and Wanda, and predeceased by her sisters, Sister Mary Timothy, Marion and Dorothy. She is fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Marjorie and Anthony came to Cambridge together from Newfoundland in 1962 – they found a church home at St. Patrick’s Parish, where Marjorie was involved with the CWL and volunteered for many church committees and social events. She was a loyal friend, and still regularly met for lunch with her friends from her many years at Bundy Canada, and looked forward to the weekly Rummoli games with the group who had played together for years. She was dearly loved and she will be missed.

Friends will be received at the T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main St. Cambridge, on Wednesday, February 22 from 6-9pm, with parish prayers at 8:30pm. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 11o’clock at St. Patrick’s Parish, 53 Wellington St., Cambridge, with committal to follow at Mountview Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, and can be arranged by contacting the funeral home.
