MARCH 13, 1953 – MAY 27, 2021

With sadness and heavy hearts, we announce that Susan Marie Campbell (nee Simmers) passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the age of 68.

Susan was a part of the Insurance Broker’s Association of Ontario for 25 years. As a “Mom to Many,” she was always caring for others. She especially enjoyed playing board games with her grandchildren. Susan was also very fond of her garden beds by the pool. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 35 years, Peter, daughters Sarah (Zach) and Emilie (Spencer), grandchildren Callum and Kenna, mother Doreen Simmers (nee Osborn), sisters Sharon (Kent), Shelley, Jennifer (John), Julie (Brad), and Jayne, brother Andrew, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Susan was predeceased by her father Herbert Simmers.

A visitation will be held at Barthel Funeral Home (566 Queenston Road, Cambridge) on Tuesday, June 1st. All attendees must sign up for a 15-minute time block during which they may attend the visitation. The sign-up sheet is available on the funeral home’s website. A private Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 3rd at St. Clement’s Church. The Mass will be live-streamed and available for viewing online via a link on the funeral home’s website. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Lung Association.
