On September 7th, 2022 Gloria (Hauser) Duneman went to walk with the angels at the age of 97.

Gloria was born in Buffalo, New York, but spent the majority of her life in the Preston area of Cambridge. She worked at Savage Shoes until the birth of her daughter. She then spent the next 18 years as a stay-at-home Wife and Mother and was more than happy to be the central figure in the lives of her family. After the death of her husband, Gloria volunteered with Family and Childrens' Services of Cambridge for a few years. Gloria was a long-time member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cambridge and served as a Sunday School and Vacation Bible School Teacher, a member of the E.L.W. and as Custodian for many years. She also assisted many Cambridge area Seniors with their house cleaning. After her retirement, Gloria spent over 20 years as a member of the Cambridge Centre Mall Walkers' Group and kept everyone entertained with her stories and jokes.

Many thanks to the staff of Riverbend Place in Cambridge and Royal Terrace in Palmerston for the excellent care Gloria received in her golden years.

Gloria is survived by her daughter Sally (Frank) Andrade of Harriston and by her nieces and nephews Gary (Sherry) Hauser, Janet (Tom) Mather, Andy (Marie) Houser, Malcolm (Corinne) Houser, Janice (Rod) Hacking, Marilyn (Paul) DeBrusk, Sandy (Richard) Goegan, Ann (Larry) Chartier, Gloria Cressman, Susan (John) Lisso and Brenda (Craig) Simpson as well as many Great Nieces and Great Nephews. Predeceased by her husband Carl Duneman, parents William Hauser and Huldah Henderson, her siblings and their spouses Joe and Norma Hauser, Bill and Marj. Houser, Jim and Amy Hauser, Joyce and Earl Lawrence and Glen Henderson. Also predeceased by her nephews Robert Houser, Jim Hauser Jr. and Charlie Cressman.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Visitation will be held at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge on Sunday, September 11 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will take place on Monday morning at 11 o'clock at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church 810 King St. East, Cambridge, with interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery. A time of fellowship and refreshments will be held in the church hall, following interment.
