With heavy hearts we announce Maureen's passing on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 in the comfort of her home and in the loving arms of her husband at the age of 66.
Beloved wife to Richard Hanson of 45 wonderful years, loving mother to Jeff (Holly) Hanson and Susan (Shawn) DeSousa. Proud and doting Nana to Amelia and Austin Hanson, Justin, Skyyler and Allison De Sousa. Dear sister to Linda (Jim) Beacock, Mike (Janet) Slater and Sharon (Rob) Duncan. Maureen will be dearly missed and forever remembered by her extended family and friends.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Visitation will take place on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650) from 12-2 p.m. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
As expressions of sympathy, donations made in Maureen's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
