John Hucsko passed suddenly on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 in his 66th year; John was born March 31, 1957. Loving and devoted husband to his wife Susan. Loving father of Sarah (Jeremy), Nathan (Alicia) and David (Bethany). Proud Pa to his adoring grandchildren Eamon, Logan, Noah, Adaline and Dani.
Predeceased by his parents Steve and Barb. Mourned by his siblings Steve (Rebecca), Betty (Earl) and Susie (Michael). Uncle to Brad Hucsko, and predeceased by his sister-in-law Sue Hucsko.
John's passion was sailing; he never stopped designing his perfect sailboat. When he wasn't busy with boats he was studying scripture and practicing his faith. John was a devout Christian and an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Cambridge. John put family above all else, and regularly hosted family gatherings, most notably showcasing his exceptional barbequing skills. He will be missed by his adoring cat Olive.
John's family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Monday, May 30 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be from St. Paul's Lutheran Church,63 Grand Avenue North, Cambridge on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation are greatly appreciated..
