In Loving Memory of Marion Alice Emily Jackson (nee Norwood)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Marion Alice Emily (Norwood) Jackson on January 26, 2023, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late John Norwood and the late Edith May (Russon) Norwood.
Born in the Village of Gagetown, New Brunswick on October 25, 1937. She was also predeceased by her husband Charles Jackson, and son Michael Charles Jackson. Also, brothers Arnold Norwood, John Norwood and Ralph Norwood.
She is survived by her daughter Michelle Naumann (Tyler), sons Robert Preidt (Michele) and John Preidt (Debbie). Also survived by daughter-in-law Shawna Meadus. Special Nana to Justin, Paige, Taylor and Ryan. Remembered by her siblings Bill Norwood(Mary Jean), Helen Norwood(Bob), Donna Neilson(Leif) and Bob Norwood(Betty). Also, by her sister-in-law Brenda Norwood. Marion will be remembered by many nieces and nephews in Ontario and New Brunswick.
Mom was a long-time employee (retired) of Dare Foods and Smiles ‘n Chuckles.
The family wishes to express our heart felt thanks to the HCCSS- Home and Community Care Support Services for providing Mom home support for many years.
We also would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital for their care and support to the family.
Mom’s care has been entrusted to the staff at Barthel Funeral Home.
There will be no visitation. A private family service will take place at the funeral home.
