Passed away at home on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at the age of 81 years.
Beloved wife of Tom Mitchell for 59 years. Dear mother of Mark and Karen of Branchton. Loved and cherished grandmother of Alissa, Connor and Michaela. Dear sister of Bruce and Helen Owers of Kitchener, and Marianne and Jim Hahn of Cambridge. Also remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Alex (2013). Andrea was elected as and served as a Commissioner for Cambridge and North Dumfries Hydro for over 10 years. She also was elected and served as Trustee and then Chair for the Waterloo Regional District School Board.
Andrea's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 2 - 4 p.m. at Coutts Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, (519-621-1650), followed by a funeral service at 4:00 p.m. Cremation will follow.
