OCTOBER 6, 1937 – APRIL 16, 2022
Harriette was called home to be with her Lord and beloved son Ronald Barnhardt on Saturday, April 16th, 2022 in her 85th year. She passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital surrounded by the love of her husband and granddaughters.
Cherished wife of William Stewart, loving mother of Rick (Patricia) Barnhardt, Sheri (Peter) Koch and step-mother to David and Tracy. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Harriette was born in Michigan to parents Raymond and Jennie Jenkins. She lived for many years in Preston before settling in Galt. Harriette was a devoted wife, she loved and adored her husband William more than anything. An animal lover - she loved animals of all kinds A devoted Christian, her faith was always important to her. Harriette would have celebrated 40 years sober next month, something that her faith undoubtedly helped her through.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650) at 2 p.m. with one hour of visitation beginning at 1 p.m. Harriette will later be laid to rest with her son Ron in the U.S.
