Fred was a roofer as well as a handyman at the Co-op and two previous townhouse complexes where we lived. He passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 21st, 2022 at the age of 67 years old.

Fred loved his family, his children and grandkids immensely. Fred loved spending quality time with his two boys, camping and fishing. He was a determined soul and there was no turning back when he set his mind on something. As we say goodbye, we celebrate a life well spent and will always remember him with a smile on our faces and love in our hearts.

Fred is survived by his loving wife, June (nee Feaver), sons Ryan (Amber) and Blair, grandchildren Marissa Lee, Abigail Marie and Landon Riley. Brothers, Wilf (Leah), Reg (Elaine), Tony (Cindy) and Alex. Sisters, Mary-Ellen (Derek), Kate, Edith (Freddie), Carolyn and Donna. Mother-in-law, Joyce Feaver, brothers-in-law Dougald, Michael (Nicole) and David (Melissa) and many nieces, nephews and friends including special friend, Derrick Kerr. Predeceased by parents John & Jessie (nee Park), brothers, Benny and Jimmy, brothers-in-law Tom and Guy, sisters, Ruby, Jacqueline and Una, father-in-law, Robert Feaver, sister-in-law, Naida Warr-Feaver.

Cremation has taken place and a Visitation will be held at Barthel Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 28th from 10am – 12:30pm with the Memorial Service to begin at 12:30 in the funeral home’s chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society or ALS Society.
