With sadness, the family of Francesca Tudisco announces her passing at home on Monday, March 14, 2022 at the age of 86 years.
Beloved wife of the late Onofrio (Fred) Tudisco, who predeceased her in 2014. Cherished and loving mother of Peter Tudisco, Grace Ribeiro (Duarte) and Anthony Tudisco ( Liz Resendes). Proud Nonna of Marc (Melanie), David (Eman), Alexander, Michael (Erica), Christopher (Jinny), Brianne, Chloe and Aliya, and great-grandmother of Mason and Theodore. Dear sister of Agata Miceli and Angela Caico, both in Italy, and the late Gaspare Bruccoleri. Francesca is fondly remembered by brother-in-law, Joe Tudisco (Louise), and sisters-in-law Giorgetta (Steve) Tudisco, Maria (Alfonso) Tudisco and Grazia (Vincent) Tudisco and the late Rose (Nick) Gentile, as well as many nieces and nephews in Italy and Canada. Onofrio and Francesca came to Canada from Italy in October of 1959 with their young family, settling in Galt.
Francesca was a loving mother, devoted to her family – she loved to cook and bake for her family. She was an opera lover, both to listen and to sing in her beautiful voice. The Tudisco family will receive friends on Thursday, March 17 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main St., Cambridge. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 11 o’clock at St. Ambrose Church, 210 South St., Cambridge. Interment to follow at Mount View Cemetery.
