Cambridge man charged after suspected crystal meth seized in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police have arrested one male on warrant and seized drugs during the arrest in Kitchener.

On Aug. 9, 2021 at approximately 7:50 p.m., members of Neighbourhood Policing Central Division were on proactive patrol in the area of King Street East and Borden Avenue North.

An officer observed a male who was wanted on an outstanding warrant. Police were able to stop the male and make an arrest.

During the arrest, approximately one ounce of suspected crystal methamphetamine was seized, along with a large quantity of cash.

A 53-year-old Cambridge male has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
