Cambridge man charged in indecent act investigation in Waterloo

Regional police have made an arrest in connection with an indecent act investigation from over the weekend in the university district of Waterloo.

At around midnight on July 3, police said a male was observed in the area of Austin Drive and Tamarack Drive in Waterloo. 

Then around 10 minutes later, the same male was allegedly seen committing an indecent act, in the area of Spruce Street and Hickory Street West.

Officers made an arrest on Wednesday.

A 36-year-old Cambridge man has been charged with two counts of prowling by night, two counts of criminal harassment and voyeurism. The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
