Cambridge man killed in Oxford County crash

Ontario Provincial Police have confirmed a Cambridge resident was killed in a collision in Oxford County over the weekend.

Police said 33-year-old Neal Daniel Whyte was operating a motorcycle. Whyte was ejected and suffered serious life-threatening injuries, then was later pronounced dead at hospital.

The crash which happened on Gunn's Hill Road, shortly after 1:30 p.m. Sunday, also involved a pickup truck.

Police say the two vehicles collided head-on. The driver of the pickup suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital.

OPP say the collision remains under investigation.

Gunn's Hill Road was closed at Oxford Road 14 for several hours while police conducted their investigation at the scene.
