Cambridge man seriously injured in double stabbing in Kitchener

Police have identified suspect and there is no concern for public safety

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating after two men were stabbed in Kitchener. 

The incident happened Thursday around 1:40 p.m. at a home near Queen Street South and Charles Street West. 

Through investigation, it was determined that two men were stabbed by another man during a dispute in a residence. The subject male then fled the area.

The victims, a 38-year-old Kitchener man and a 32-year-old Cambridge man, were transported to hospital with serious injuries.

The suspect has been identified, and the involved parties are known to each other. There is no concern for public safety at this time.

The investigation is ongoing by Waterloo Regional Police Service's General Investigations Unit.
