Cambridge teen charged after stabbing in Woolwich Township

Police have made an arrest after a youth was stabbed in Woolwich Township.

On Aug. 25, 2022, at approximately 12:10 a.m., police responded to the area of Dolman Street and Woolwich Street South for a report of a stabbing.

The victim, a 17-year-old male, was transported to an out-of-region hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

As a result of the investigation, an 18-year-old Cambridge male has been charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and failure to comply with a sentence or disposition.

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
