Collision sends Cambridge e-bike rider to hospital with serious injuries

On Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, at approximately 11:20 p.m., Emergency Services responded to the area of Roseville Road near Kings Road in North Dumfries Township for a collision involving an E-bike. A 31-year-old Kitchener male, operating a black Infiniti was traveling west on Roseville Road when he struck a 19-year-old Cambridge male operating an E-Bike. 

The rider was transported to a Hamilton hospital with serious injuries.

The roadway was closed to traffic until 3:30 a.m.

On Oct. 12, 2021, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Emergency Services responded to the area of Victoria Street South, near Westmount Road West in Kitchener for a collision involving a motor vehicle and a pedestrian. A 42-year-old male was crossing the road when he was struck by a vehicle, operated by a 29-year-old Kitchener male, travelling west on Victoria Street.

As a result of the collision, the pedestrian was transported to an out of region hospital with serious injuries.

Victoria Street was shut down for approximately six hours for the investigation.
