Graffiti at local high school threatens potential violence

On Sept. 21, 2022, at approximately 7:45 a.m., police responded to St. Benedict Catholic Secondary School in Cambridge for a report of threatening graffiti that was located within one of the washrooms.

The threat made reference to potential violence towards the school, staff and students.

Investigators are working to determine the viability of the threat. 

The investigation is ongoing by the Waterloo Regional Police Service's General Investigations Unit.
