A 19-year member of the Waterloo Regional Police Service has been arrested by the Guelph Police Service and charged with one count of Assault related to an off-duty incident.
The member was charged on June 11, 2021, and is scheduled to appear in Kitchener’s Ontario Court of Justice on July 8, 2021.
Disclosure of further details, including the name of the member, will not be released as it may identify the victim.
