Investigation continues after senior robbed, injured last month

Victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

July 12 update:
Members of Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a robbery that occurred in the area of Langs Drive in Cambridge.

Police are looking to identify the individuals in the photos above.

On June 23, 2021 at approximately 6:50 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to the area of Langs Drive in Cambridge for a report of a robbery.

An elderly male was approached by an unknown male, after parking his vehicle in a nearby parking lot.

The suspect demanded the victim's car keys and began to grab at the victim's hand. A physical altercation ensued and the victim was shoved to the ground.

The suspect fled the area with the victim's vehicle and personal property. The suspect was last seen travelling on Trico Drive.

The suspect has been described as male, white, with an average build, wearing a white baseball cap and dark clothing.

The victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation remains ongoing.
