Knife reportedly brandished at employee during convenience store armed robbery

Two suspects sought; the investigation is ongoing

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a report of an armed robbery of a convenience store in Cambridge.

On July 5, 2021, at approximately 10 p.m., police responded to a report of a robbery in the area of Cedar Street and Berkley Road.

The male suspect entered the store, brandished a knife, and demanded cash from an employee. The male then fled the area on foot with a second male.

The first male has been described as white, approximately 5’7” tall, with blue eyes and blond hair. The male was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black pants. 

The second male has been described as having a darker complexion, approximately 5’9”, with curly hair. The male was last seen wearing a dark hoodie and dark pants.

The investigation is ongoing.
