Limping older man who followed Cambridge girl sought by police

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a report of a suspicious person in Cambridge.

On Nov. 29, around 8:20 a.m., a girl was walking in the area of East Street and Ballantyne Avenue when she was followed by an unknown man.

The man did not attempt to interact with her.

He followed her until she got to a place of safety.

The man is described as White, 50-70 years old, with a heavy build and grey hair, wearing a long grey coat and a red-striped winter hat. The man also walked with a limp.

The investigation is ongoing.
