Police investigate Facebook account used to lure victims into human trafficking

In 2021, the Joint Waterloo-Guelph Human Trafficking Team initiated an investigation into a suspect luring vulnerable females online through a fake Facebook account. 

Through investigation, police determined that the first victim was lured in December 2019, however, the Facebook account was created in 2016. 

The fake Facebook profile used in the incident had the username Fee Robinson. Investigators believe there may be additional victims lured using this Facebook profile account. 

The investigation is ongoing. 

Anyone who believes they have been a victim of this crime or has information is asked to contact the Joint Waterloo-Guelph Human Trafficking Team at [email protected] or 519-570-9777 extension 8349. Anonymous tips can also be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
