Police investigate structure fire today in North Dumfries

The structure was determined to be an abandoned farmhouse with no utilities. The building was destroyed by the fire.

On Feb. 11, at approximately 3:45 a.m., emergency services responded to reports of a structure fire in the area of Alps Road and Reidsville Road in the Township of North Dumfries.

The structure was determined to be an abandoned farmhouse with no utilities. The building was destroyed by the fire.

There were no physical injuries reported as a result of the incident.

The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.

The investigation remains ongoing by the Waterloo Regional Police and North Dumfries Fire Department.
