Police investigating after report of suspicious male approaching 8-year-old boy

Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a report of a suspicious male.

On Sept. 12, 2021, police received a historical report involving a male driving a white Jeep Wrangler in the area of Arthur Fach Drive in Cambridge.

An eight-year-old boy was walking in the area when he was approached by an unknown male driving a white Jeep. There was a brief interaction between the male and child before the child was able to seek a place of safety.

There were no physical injuries as a result of the incident.

The male has been described as white, approximately 50-years-old, driving a door-less, white Jeep Wrangler.
