Police investigating rash of recent commercial break and enters

Incidents occurred on Dec. 17 and 19; computer equipment was taken both times

Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team are investigating a trend of commercial break and enters in Cambridge.

On Dec. 17, 2021, at approximately 1:30 a.m., a break and enter occurred at a business in the area of Franklin Boulevard and Bishop Street North.

On Dec. 19, 2021, at approximately 5:05 a.m., a break and enter occurred at a second business in the area of Franklin Boulevard and Bishop Street North.

Computer equipment was taken in both incidents. 

Both investigations are ongoing.

Members of the public are encouraged to report any suspicious vehicles or persons activity to police.
