The Waterloo Regional Police Service's Robbery Unit continues to investigate a robbery that occurred at the Cambridge Centre Mall.
On July 26, 2021, at approximately 2 p.m., police responded to a report of a robbery at a business within the mall. An unknown female allegedly entered the business and concealed several items into her purse. Staff members attempted to confront the female suspect who assaulted one of the members prior to fleeing the mall on foot. The female was last observed walking north on Hespeler Road, towards Bishop Street North.
