Police look to speak to two individuals as part of recent package theft investigation

The Waterloo Regional Police Service's General Investigations Unit is continuing to investigate a robbery that took place in the area of Concession Road and Langs Drive in Cambridge. 

Investigators are looking to identify and speak to these individuals in connection to this incident.

The investigation is ongoing.

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating reports of stolen packages from residences in the Preston area of Cambridge. 

On Feb. 9, 2022, at approximately 5:05 p.m., police were called to a residence in the area of Concession Road and Langs Drive after the victim reported they confronted a female and a male who stole a package from their home. When the victim confronted the individuals, the male brandished a knife. The suspects fled the area, with the female pulling a red wagon. 

There were no physical injuries reported as a result of the incident. 

While police were investigating, other residents advised that their packages were also stolen from their porches. 

Police recovered some of the packages and the red wagon the female was using in the playground of William G. Davis Public School. The items were returned to their owners. 

The investigation is ongoing.
